Michigan freshman Ericka VanderLende finished fifth in the women's 6-kilometer blue race in 20:13.4 at the NCAA Division 1 Pre-Nationals at LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. VanderLende led five Michigan scorers in the top 50, as the Wolverines took fourth overall with 164 points. VanderLende has placed in the top five of all four races this season, including a pair of victories for Michigan.
